Soon my long-lived nickname of Ceeburt, Burt, Burthole, Carrie Burp, etc. will be gone forever and I will be known as the second Carrie Ann O'Connor. This will also be the second time I've been referred to as Carrie #2. Corey's sister is also named Carrie Ann O'Connor. I never get a break with the whole name thing.
Corey and I are getting married on July 4th in Columbia, MD and thought this blog could serve as a wedding/what we're up to blog. So far the wedding is going to be like this:
Starts at 5
We get married
We eat a feast of BBQ pig and chicken from Beefalo Bob's
We drink whatever your preference is
We cut the wedding pie
We dance
We watch fireworks
We go home
Sounds like so much fun, huh? Honestly I never wanted to have a wedding that people attended, but Corey talked me into it and it's pretty exciting. I'm mainly just excited that I'm going to get to see a lot of family and friends and I'm also excited to have a really cool 4th of July this year!
I want to walk down the aisle to something besides the normal song (I don't even know what it's called) so if anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear 'em. I did read that someone is going to walk to an instrumental Coldplay song... something along those lines.
Here is a visual timeline of mine and Corey's history (I guess it wanted to load the pictures from most recent to oldest). We laughed, we cried, we showed the world our butts. We're a self-proclaimed classy couple who aspires for greatness. Meaning we want a shot glass from every cool place we've ever been and hope to one day multiply and replenish the earth with 2 small people who will be lucky enough to call us Corey and Carrie.
